Welcome to ELARA CPH. These terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from elaracph.com. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Products

We do our best to display every product as accurately as possible, including colour, fabric, and detail. Please note that slight variations may occur due to screen settings and the handcrafted nature of our garments. Each ELARA piece is unique, and small irregularities in embroidery, weave, or finish are part of the character of handmade work, not a defect.

Pricing

All prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include VAT for orders within the EU. Prices for international orders do not include local duties or taxes. See our Shipping policy for details.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment in full.

Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your order by email. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, payment cannot be processed, or we suspect fraudulent activity.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards, MobilePay, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed at the time of order. All payment data is handled by our payment providers and is never stored on our servers.

Right of withdrawal & returns

If you are an EU or UK consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven). Full details on returns, refunds, and the standard withdrawal form are available in our Refund policy.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about your order, a product, or any aspect of our service, please contact us first at hello@elaracph.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve all complaints within 14 days.

Warranty

Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven), you have a 2-year right to complain about defects in materials or workmanship. If a defect appears within 2 years of purchase and was not caused by normal wear or improper handling, you are entitled to have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or have the price reduced, depending on the circumstances.

Please contact us at hello@elaracph.com within a reasonable time after discovering the defect (no later than 2 months) with photos and a description. Approved complaints include reasonable return shipping reimbursement.

Please note: ELARA garments are handcrafted using delicate techniques such as hand embroidery, sequin work, beadwork, and woven fabrics. The following are characteristics of handmade work and not considered defects:

  • Slight variations in colour, weave, or finish between pieces
  • Minor irregularities in embroidery or sequin placement
  • Loose threads or beads that may appear over time with normal wear

Damage caused by improper care, snagging on jewellery or accessories, exposure to perfume or makeup, machine washing, or alterations is not covered by this warranty. Garments must be cared for in accordance with the care label.

All content on elaracph.com, including text, images, logos, product designs, and graphics, is the property of ELARA CPH or our licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ELARA CPH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Danish or EU law.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, postal delays, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be brought before the competent Danish courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order. The latest version is always available on this page.
